Eco Council
Welcome to Malpas Alport Eco Council
On this page you will find out about all things environmental and what projects we are busy working on.
The Eco council is made up of children from KS2 who are passionate about leading environmental change both in and outside school. They are a very active committee who have achieved so much and are constatly striving for improvements.
Achievements so far:
- 2 Eco Days-whole school days to raise awareness of humans on our environment and endagered species and raise funds for our eco garden and another play ground bin.
- Local area project- Poster competiton to encoiurage local residents to safely dispose of their dog waste
- Developed an eco-garden on school grounds
- Regular litter picking around school
- Reduce paper usage and recycle all paper and cardboard- paper bins in all rooms
- Walk and cycle to school weeks
- Involved in trim trail design KS2
- Climate Audit
